Privacy Policy

Who we are

Gubblee is a sub-product of EdhuruPortal, the team behind Teachtoolsmv and LessonFuse. In this policy and the terms below, "we" and "us" means EdhuruPortal. Use the contact details at the end of this page for privacy, account and service questions.

What we collect

Your account: your name and email. Classroom and family data you enter: children's names, index numbers, points, badges, attendance and notes. Payments: bank-transfer references and an optional transfer slip image. We never see or store card numbers. We also store quizzes you make, learning progress, support messages and screenshots you send us, sign-in and device records, and how often AI features are used. We record the approximate country you signed up from. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your data.

Cookies & security

We use only essential cookies: they keep you signed in and remember devices you have authorised. We protect accounts and keep limited security records to detect and stop abuse. Security records are kept for up to 90 days.

Who processes your data

Data is stored on Cloudflare, which provides our hosting, database and file storage. Resend delivers account emails. We use a private Telegram chat for internal notices about orders and support messages, including a copy of any payment slip you upload. When you use an AI feature, your request is sent to the AI provider that powers it (Anthropic or Google); do not include children's names or other personal details in AI requests. These providers may process data outside your country.

Children's data

Gubblee is used by teachers and parents with children aged 4–18. Children do not create their own accounts: they use Gubblee through a teacher's or parent's account, on devices that adult authorises. Teachers are responsible for having the consent their school or institution requires before entering student information. Enter only what is needed: a name and, if you want, an index number. Quiz images can be opened by anyone who has the image link, so do not upload photos of children or private documents as quiz images.

Play time and game results. While a child is signed in as themselves and actively playing, Gubblee counts how many minutes they play each day and keeps their best two scores per game, to show that child's own teacher and parent. These are deleted after 120 days. We also keep a record of each game they play, for that child's own teacher: which game, the day, how long, how many were right, and, when we can tell, which questions were right or wrong. These records are deleted after 400 days. We do not store the time of day, the device, the wording of the questions or the child's answers.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and classroom records while your account is open. Payment slip images are deleted from Gubblee after review, usually within seven days; the copy in our private admin chat is kept as our payment record. Go to My Account to download your records or delete your account; deleting removes your records and files from Gubblee. Backup copies may keep deleted records for a limited time before they are overwritten. Emails already sent and Telegram notices are separate copies. Contact us to ask for a copy, a correction, or removal from backups.

Terms & Conditions

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Gubblee you agree to these terms. Accounts are for adults: teachers, parents and guardians. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details and children's PINs safe.

The service

Gubblee is a classroom and family tool: classes, points, attendance, quizzes, games and learning content. We work to keep it fast and available, but it is provided as is. We cannot promise it will never be down, and features may change as the product grows. AI-made quizzes can contain mistakes, so check them before using them with children.

Shells

Shells are Gubblee's in-app currency. When you buy them, 10 Shells cost MVR 1. You spend Shells to unlock games and other content, extra classes and AI features.

Shells you buy, and Shells we give you (such as welcome and teaching rewards), do not expire. Shells that come with a plan expire when the plan ends; if you renew before then, unused plan Shells carry over. Plan Shells are spent before your other Shells.

Shells have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or moved to another account. Unused Shells are lost if you delete your account. We may change reward amounts for the future, and we may correct Shells added by mistake.

Payments & plans

You pay by bank transfer in Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR). A person checks each payment, usually within a day, and your Shells or plan start after it is approved. We may decline a payment we cannot verify. Prices are shown before you pay. We may change prices, but a change never affects a payment we have already approved.

Monthly runs for 30 days and Yearly for 365 days. Plans do not renew automatically and we never charge you without a new transfer from you. Premium features work while your plan is active. When it ends, Premium features stop, but anything you unlocked with Shells stays yours.

Refunds

Approved payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. If a payment was wrong, or you paid for something we did not provide, contact us with your order reference and we will look into it.

Your content and ours

Quizzes, class lists and other things you create stay yours. You let us store and show them only so Gubblee can work for you. Our games, characters, artwork and learning content belong to us. When you unlock something, you may use it with your own classes or family. Do not copy, resell or share it outside that use.

Fair use

Do not try to access data that is not yours, interfere with Gubblee, or open extra accounts to collect welcome Shells or rewards. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can delete your account at any time from My Account.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost work or time caused by downtime. If we are responsible for a loss, our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law gives you.

Changes and law

We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you in Gubblee before an important change. These terms are governed by the laws of the Maldives.
